Friday May 20th 12 hours Why do you want to join SASP? I am looking to gain valuable experience with a Law Enforcement Agency that conducts a wide range of investigations within a broad jurisdiction. I believe this would provide me the right experience and working knowlege of handling law enforcment responsibilites, while simultanously working towards credentials worthy of an application to the FIB. Playing in a serious RP server, I am less interested in roleplaying a life of crime or a rags to riches story, and more focused on providing a purpose and valuable role to the integrity and realism of the server. I feel as though a job in law enforcement is one of the best ways to have that experience. I am solid leader and excellent communicator with a passion for criminal investigation, and feel as though I could be a valuable asset to the SASP. What depicts SASP from the LSPD? As with any law enforcement agencies here in the United States, we have Local, State and Federal agencies each with their own responsibilites and jurisdictions. The San Andreas State Police differs from the Lucid City Police Department in the same way, such that while LCPD has a jurisdiction within the city limits, SASP's jurisdiction covers the entire "State" of San Andreas. While LCPD is responsible for patrolling, enforcing laws and conducting investigations within city limits, the responsibilites of the SASP range from patroling and enforcing traffic laws on state highways, to more in-depth and complex investigations in joint task force operations that assist local and federal authorities that need the assistance of a police force with state powers. What do you have to offer? I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of role playing and have extensive experience in a wide range of RP gaming. I also come from a military background which has provided me with the skills necessary to make sound decisions while being a good leader and respecting the chain of command. I have extensive knowledge in firearms training, small unit tactics, defensive driving, human intelligence operations, surveillance and report writing. What roleplay have you been primarily carrying out in Lucid City so far? My GTA V RP Character is a recently separated Marine Corps Veteran, after serving 10 years and doing 4 tours overseas it was time to part ways with the Armed Forces and make the transition back to civilian life. Being new to San Andreas I have taken small role as a Lumberjack working long hours grinding money to survive while being a good citizen and living a quiet life in the small town of Paleto Bay doing a little prospecting on the side. I have done my best to assist regular civilians that are in need of help and provide Law Enforcement with detailed descriptions of suspects as occasionally I am a witness to crimes being comitted. I have recently decided that Law Enforcment is the right path for me and have began the process of applying to the San Andreas State Police. What makes you suitable for this department? My real life and RP background in Military operations provides me with a significant advantage in taking on the role of Law Enforcement in an RP environment. I have a great sense of humor and know how to have fun with my team however, I am fully capable of switching it into high gear to provide quick and effective communication, professionalism, intelligence and sound judgement to what I would consider to be a very demanding role within GTA V RP. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of a collective unit and team of individuals who will share the same passion for role playing that I do and will bring my A game to provide the most immersive and realistic role play I can to this Character. Ultimately, all of this combined provides a satisfying experience to those who wish to RP in the Lucid City Server. Have you received any disciplinary in the pas, as well as any bans or warnings? If so describe why. No Do you know what the chain of command is? If so explain it and, do you agree to comply with it? A Chain of Command is a series of administrative, Law Enforcement, Military ranks, positions, etc. in which each has direct authority over the one immediately below. I do agree with a Chain of Command because it provides the necessary structure to conduct effective operations, particularly when those operations require the experience and leadership qualities of those who have rank. I agree with and will comply with the Chain of Command within the SASP Do you agree that you will act respectfully and maturely at any and all times? Yes All applicants are required to read and understand the community policies, have you done so? Yes Do you understand that you can be removed or blacklisted from the department if you receive a certain amount of disciplinary actions? Yes You get a call that there is a bank robbery in Paleto bay, there is a Sergeant from the state police present, and a commander from the police, who takes command of the situation in regards of jurisdiction? In this particular situation, it would be appropriate for the Commander of the Paleto Bay Police department to take charge of the investigation. Paletto Bay would be the direct jurisdiction of the Paletto Bay Police Department, and while I am more than willing to help with the investigation, it would only be appropriate in my case to take charge of the investigation when explicetly asked to do so either by the request of the Paletto Bay Police, or some other State or Federal Authority when the experience and/or scope of the investigation requires the resources of the San Andreas State Police.
