  1. What is your character name? Adam Hornswoggle What is your Discord username? r4t#1325 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I want to join SAHP because I want to be able to bring more fun but serious roleplay to the community which I think is very fun and good for the community to do as a officer in this city. I also want to be able to take more criminals off the street and make the the city safer for the normal non criminal civilians in the city, I know that i will be able to devote alot of time being a great officer and want to be able to make a difference to the community and to SAHP by being loyal and being a active officer in the city. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? I know that SAHP is different from normal PD cause SAHP patrols, focuses, and stops crime in the northern parts of the city like the highways leading more up north, Sandy, Paleto, Grapeseed and everything in between those northern city's. Lets say a bank gets robbed in sandy or paleto, the first responders would be SAHP but if Vangelico or a fleeca bank in the city was getting robbed LSPD would likely be first responders. I feel that SAHP has differences from other law enforcement by the good personality everyone on the force has but also keeping seriousness in situations needed. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? My priority would be to value the hostages life over anything and try to get the hostage out of that situation alive and well without harming anybody involved then after the hostage is secured and we know they are safe and fine to carry on with their day safely catch or look for the person who had the hostages or hostage in the situation, Because even if there is a way to get the criminal during the hostage situation there could be possibilities that the criminal or officers could accidentally harm the hostage or hostages unless it is fully planned out and safe for the civilians in the situation. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? I would try to speak to whoever i feel has a personal issue with me and resolve it as good as i possibly because negativity or disliking of others in the workplace could effect more people than just the two people involved, also if we are out there in serious or kind of tedious situations a negative environment or even a negative feeling on one or two people could effect the whole workplace and even possibly put people in danger if bickering or anything of the sort occurs in action. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I would stop and ask the civilian if they are okay just to be fully sure nothing bad happened to them and once i found out if they are okay and nobody is hurt continue the chase or let another officer know and hope that they can continue the chase. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? i would stop everything im doing and go to that panic alarm in hopes that there is enough officers to stay at the bank if not it wont matter we will have to make sure all officers and troopers are safe, a bank being robbed is not as important as a law enforcement possibly losing their life. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I would detain the person or people in the car and search the car aswell as ask the people maybe what they were doing at grove street or where they were going and call another trooper to come help with the stop incase they could be dangerous or there is more than one person involved after we know the situation is safe search the people with probable cause and reasonable suspicion of possible narcotics trafficking, if the car were to flee when they see me i would still stop them and continue the traffic stop as normal because they are fleeing a possible/ongoing scene of crime, if they end up fleeing from the traffic stop i would call over radio to other troopers to assist or find them in the chase. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
