  1. What is your character name? Hunter Allen What is your Discord username? neal#7274 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I want to join the SAHP because I've always wanted to RP in law enforcement in Lucid City. I want to bring good RP and work ethics to the force and contribute to the community. I bring serious RP to the table and like to have fun in certain situations. I want to catch criminals and make the city a better place. I have been commended by staff for consistently giving great RP and I am ready to show it through LEO RP. My other character Wyatt Allen, is a well known person in his city through his musical career and notable patriotism. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? The SAHP is different from the LCPD because the SAHP is more focused in the north and on state highways. The SAHP covers the entire state of San Andreas while LCPD only covers Lucid City itself. I would be expected to carry out my daily duties in a positive attitude, professional manner, and good work ethics. My duties are to stop the crime of the State and make it a better place for the civilians. The SAHP has great officers and carry out every scenario to the best of their ability to give good and serious RP. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? Preservation of life would be the priority. The life of hostages are the most important thing in any situation that involves the type. I would get the hostages out safely without harming anyone before engaging in any sort of chase or conflict with the perpetrators. There should be no fumbling with the hostages lives. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? I would follow the chain-of-command and remain professional at all times. I would make sure I have proof of the mishap, and speak with my Sergeant to see how the matter should be handled. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? This situation would depend on the number of units involved in the pursuit. If there are multiple units, I would make sure the civilian is okay and no damage was sustained. If there are not many units, I would have to keep going as an active chase on potential murderers is more important than a minor fender bender. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I would immediately respond to the panic alarm. A law enforcement officer's life is far more important than a bank robbery. Upon arriving to the call, I would ensure the officers safety and radio the situation. I would attend to the downed officer and call for EMS immediately if medical attention is needed (they should also get the alarm). While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I would radio the description of the vehicle and say I'm stopping them for suspicion on the narcotics trafficking call. I would approach the person and ask how they're doing and carry out a regular traffic stop (drivers license, proof of insurance, registration) also smelling for possible smells. If it comes back clean, by law I have no right to carry anything out further. If they were to flee, I would announce the initiation of the chase on my radio, and chase the individual. Upon catching the individual, they will be searched along with his vehicle for any illegal substances. If any are found, they will be charged for that as well as evading charges (that they would get no matter if there's illegal items or not.) Other than that, I would like to say I have great worth ethics and am a likeable person. I do everything the best I can and give serious RP. If it wasn't for my other character, Wyatt, having multiple family members in gangs, I would apply on that character. I just don't feel like it would match him, although Daleson told me to apply on that character Anyways, thank you for your time and consideration, have a great day! Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
