  2. What is your character name? Cletus Hills What is your Discord username? VenomOnSiege#3060 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I wish to Join SAHP Because I want to Protect and Serve the Lucid Community in the Most Professional, Mature Way Possible, Plus I already know a few People Inside of SAHP I believe Its Ramsey, Oreo, And Lorenzo, I'm not sure if Oreo is though, Anyways What Stands Me Out Is that I have Previous Experience in 5 Other Citys, I'm Active, Mature, Trustworthy, Professional, Loyal, Willing to Learn, And What Makes Me An Asset Well I'm not like other people just tell me what I'm doing wrong call me out and ill fix it. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? State and Local Law Enforcement Is Two Different Things Such as State Covers the Whole State and Local Only Covers That City/County, Also There is Federal Police They Cover the Whole Country, I will be Expected to Carry Out my Dutys to My Limit and Beyond in the Most Mature, Professional Manor And I'll be Expected To Serve Lucid City And All of its Citizen's By taking Down the Criminals In Heists, Robbery's, Stealing Vehicles Well I Could Go On And On But My Point Is Your Expected To Carry Out Every Scenario That Happens With Perfection Highway Patrol Is Different From Other Agencies Because They Cover Highways Hints the Name Highway Patrol (I see some in the city most of the time) Basically They Cover All The State's Highways. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? My Priority in the Hostage Situation is to get all the hostages out Alive BEFORE getting the people involved The Main Priority Is the Civilians In that Situation to Make Sure you get them Alive and Well. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? Well, I would Follow the CoC, Make Sure I have Proof and I would Tell the Sergeant What Happened Show him/her The Proof and Yeah There's Not Much To it While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I Would Not Radio to Not Jam Up the Radio If there were a decent number of units on the pursuit I would check if that person is Alright (they are) and see if their car is safe (it is) and Continue On The Pursuit If Not A Good Amount of Units are On the Pursuit I would Keep Going, I'm pretty sure this isn't Right But that is what Always Happens to Me when An Officer Rams me. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I Would Receive the Notification I Would Radio If I can Leave for That Situation and I'm pretty sure they would Say Yes Because it's a Panic Button I would Respond Code 3 And Help the Officer Out However He Would Need Help And Of Course Follow the Rules of Force, ETC! And If He needed Medical Attention, I Would Call EMS. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I Would Radio (callsign) is on a traffic stop with a (vehicle model) (Make) (color) For Suspicion on This Trafficking Call, I Would Step Out Ask Him How He is Doing, Smell Any Odors, Ask for His License, Registration, Proof of Insurance Run it if it comes back clean, I can't Do Anything Because I have no Cause, If They were to Run However, I will initiate Pursuit over the Radio And Do the Chase, Make Callouts, ETC Once It Ends I Would Call it out Then Take him into custody Search him put him in my vehicle, Search His Vehicle And If there was anything else I would charge him on that, I would Also Like To Say Thank you for your time! Have a Good Day Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
