  1. What is your character name? Tommy Bellz What is your Discord username? CuhzRom#6648 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I wish to join the SAHP, due to the fact that I want to see how the other side is. My main character is Tommy Shiesty who is in WSM all he's done is been in a gang not really seen what its like to be a PD. I've had a lot of interactions with PD on him so it would be cool to see what its like to be on the enforcement side of things. I believe what separates me most from other candidate is the sole fact that my intent is not to just go to SAHP and kill a bunch of crims. I do wanna interact with a lot of crims and see what are there sides and see how they operate. Not only that but my assets include making the city fun for others, and just having fun with other officers. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? The difference between local law (LCPD) and state law (SAHP) is local law enforces the main city they patrol the city mainly, while state has the jurisdiction within the entire state of Lucid City, they are not bound to just the city. Examples include while LCPD is in the city SAHP could either be in the city, or they could be sandy/paleto. Duties that SAHP are expected to perform are to patrol the whole city, serve the law, and to help the other enforcement in times of conflict. Qualities that set us apart from other law enforcement we have a much wider area to cover which leads highway patrol, we have enforce safety on drivers, also SAHP is the top which leads into us doing it all while others focus on one specific thing. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? The priority would be preservation of life, the life is way more valuable than the people that were involved. I believe that getting everyone that is not involved with the crime is important than chasing the people that are stealing or whatever they may be doing. Lifes are more important than stolen goods, after the lives are secured is when you get the people involved. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? I myself would take the whole situation and understand that my Corporal is in best interest for me. Everyone's not perfect, but being in law enforcement requires you to not make recognizable mistakes which should be the basic. So in turns I would respect my Corporals discipline and work hard on not making the same mistakes again. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? If neither vehicle is damaged and the civilian is okay and does not need medical attention I will continue to pursuit the murderer. I would act fast to keep up the armed felons. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I would leave the scene of the bank and go respond to the officer that is in panic. It is true the fleeca bank is a priority of the law enforcement, but an officer life is worth more than some stolen goods. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I would be empowered to get identification of the victims around me, use my clues whether it be flag, area, etc to associate who I'm dealing with. I would ask the person a series of questions and interact with him to be observed as I'm a friendly. If the story/rp fits well with me I will interact and tell them they are free to go. If the vehicle were to flee upon pulling them over it would change the whole scenario towards the fact that they are dealing narcotics or may have something illegal on them. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
