  1. What is your character name? Adrian Kennedy What is your Discord username? xshkjesus#7801 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? i want to join the SAHP to make a difference in the city. To uphold law and order and make sure the highways of LC are safe. I also want to help reduce gang violence and reduce the amount of robberies and hostage situations that are common in the city. as well as prevent the matter of frequent speed limit violations. My knowledge of the city and its locations provide me with an advantage as i know the quickest routes needed to reach a destination. my knowledge as a taxi manager and my clean criminal record should be above some of the other candidates. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? LCPD jurisdiction is based in the city its there jobs to uphold law in the main city. where as the SASP is state wide and there jurisdiction is above LSPD. there are held to a higher standard and are mainly found patrolling the highways. I believe my duties would be securing crime scenes, setting up speed traps and patrolling the cities highway system. i believe the SAHP is more professional and has a more strict code than that of the LCPD What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? Preservation of life takes priority. we are here to protect and serve not be glory chases. you can always catch a criminal later there isn't a second chance to save that persons life. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? I would reach out to another supervisor and ask for their advice on the matter. also see what happened to have caused this issue. from there i would attempt to correct myself or to see what the supervisor has to say. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I still double check if the civilian needs medical assistance and if they are okay, if all is well, i would apologize and continue my pursuit. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I would continue my negotiations with the robbers as there is still a hostage inside. i would also inform dispatch and ask for further guidance. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I would ask the suspect what they were doing in the area to see if their story seemed clear, i would run a background check and also inform dispatch of the scenario. i would ask to search the vehicle, as i dont want to abuse power. if they were to flee then i would pursue them again notifying dispatch and continuing with my pursuit, if im able to pull them over i would then search the vehicle and fleeing is reasonable suspicion. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
