  1. What is your character name? Zavo Stead What is your Discord username? Zavo#0656 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I wish to Join SAHP Because I want to Protect and Serve the Lucid Community in the Most Professional, Mature Way Possible, Plus I already know a few People Inside of SAHP I believe Its Ramsey, Oreo, And Lorenzo, I'm not sure if Oreo is though, Anyways What Stands Me Out Is that I have Previous Experience in 5 Other Citys, I'm Active, Mature, Trustworthy, Professional, Loyal, Willing to Learn, And What Makes Me An Asset Well I'm not like other people just tell me what I'm doing wrong call me out and ill fix it. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? State and Local Law Enforcement Is Two Different Things Such as State Covers the Whole State and Local Only Covers That City/County, Also There is Federal Police They Cover the Whole Country, I will be Expected to Carry Out my Dutys to My Limit and Beyond in the Most Mature, Professional Manor And I'll be Expected To Serve Lucid City And All of its Citizen's By taking Down the Criminals In Heists, Robbery's, Stealing Vehicles Well I Could Go On And On But My Point Is Your Expected To Carry Out Every Scenario That Happens With Perfection Highway Patrol Is Different From Other Agencies Because They Cover Highways Hints the Name Highway Patrol (I see some in the city most of the time) Basically They Cover All The State's Highways. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? My Priority in the Hostage Situation is to get all the hostages out Alive BEFORE getting the people involved The Main Priority Is the Civilians In that Situation to Make Sure you get them Alive and Well. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? Well, I would Follow the CoC, Make Sure I have Proof and I would Tell the Sergeant What Happened Show him/her The Proof and Yeah There's Not Much To it While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I Would Not Radio to Not Jam Up the Radio If there were a decent number of units on the pursuit I would check if that person is Alright (they are) and see if their car is safe (it is) and Continue On The Pursuit If Not A Good Amount of Units are On the Pursuit I would Keep Going, I'm pretty sure this isn't Right But that is what Always Happens to Me when An Officer Rams me. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I Would Receive the Notification I Would Radio If I can Leave for That Situation and I'm pretty sure they would Say Yes Because it's a Panic Button I would Respond Code 3 And Help the Officer Out However He Would Need Help And Of Course Follow the Rules of Force, ETC! And If He needed Medical Attention, I Would Call EMS. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I Would Radio (callsign) is on a traffic stop with a (vehicle model) (Make) (color) For Suspicion on This Trafficking Call, I Would Step Out Ask Him How He is Doing, Smell Any Odors, Ask for His License, Registration, Proof of Insurance Run it if it comes back clean, I can't Do Anything Because I have no Cause, If They were to Run However, I will initiate Pursuit over the Radio And Do the Chase, Make Callouts, ETC Once It Ends I Would Call it out Then Take him into custody Search him put him in my vehicle, Search His Vehicle And If there was anything else I would charge him on that, I would Also Like To Say Thank you for your time! Have a Good Day Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
  2. What is your character name? Zavo Stead What is your Discord username? Zavo#0656 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I wish to join the SAHP, due to the fact that I want to see how the other side is. My main character is Tommy Shiesty who is in WSM all he's done is been in a gang not really seen what its like to be a PD. I've had a lot of interactions with PD on him so it would be cool to see what its like to be on the enforcement side of things. I believe what separates me most from other candidate is the sole fact that my intent is not to just go to SAHP and kill a bunch of crims. I do wanna interact with a lot of crims and see what are there sides and see how they operate. Not only that but my assets include making the city fun for others, and just having fun with other officers. The difference between local law (LCPD) and state law (SAHP) is local law enforces the main city they patrol the city mainly, while state has the jurisdiction within the entire state of Lucid City, they are not bound to just the city. Examples include while LCPD is in the city SAHP could either be in the city, or they could be sandy/paleto. Duties that SAHP are expected to perform are to patrol the whole city, serve the law, and to help the other enforcement in times of conflict. Qualities that set us apart from other law enforcement we have a much wider area to cover which leads highway patrol, we have enforce safety on drivers, also SAHP is the top which leads into us doing it all while others focus on one specific thing. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? The priority would be preservation of life, the life is way more valuable than the people that were involved. I believe that getting everyone that is not involved with the crime is important than chasing the people that are stealing or whatever they may be doing. Lifes are more important than stolen goods, after the lives are secured is when you get the people involved. I myself would take the whole situation and understand that my Corporal is in best interest for me. Everyone's not perfect, but being in law enforcement requires you to not make recognizable mistakes which should be the basic. So in turns I would respect my Corporals discipline and work hard on not making the same mistakes again. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? If neither vehicle is damaged and the civilian is okay and does not need medical attention I will continue to pursuit the murderer. I would act fast to keep up the armed felons. I would leave the scene of the bank and go respond to the officer that is in panic. It is true the fleeca bank is a priority of the law enforcement, but an officer life is worth more than some stolen goods. I would be empowered to get identification of the victims around me, use my clues whether it be flag, area, etc to associate who I'm dealing with. I would ask the person a series of questions and interact with him to be observed as I'm a friendly. If the story/rp fits well with me I will interact and tell them they are free to go. If the vehicle were to flee upon pulling them over it would change the whole scenario towards the fact that they are dealing narcotics or may have something illegal on them. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
  3. What is your character name? Zavo Stead What is your Discord username? Zavo#0656 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol because I have been in the city for a decent amount of time now and I know a lot of illegal activity goes on and I would love to help in any way I can to bring justice back to Lucid City. The things that separates me from other candidates is the fact that I am a quick learner, I am good at following orders, I would really LOVE this position, I am very friendly but can be very stern if an when need be and I would love to interact with everyone on any terms. The difference between state and local law enforcement is the local law enforcement handles crimes within cities, towns, or counties. State law enforcement handles state-wide crimes. If a any crime happens outside of the actual city of lucid city like up in sandy then the local law enforcement may not have the jurisdiction to take care of whatever is happening outside of the city. The duties I will expect to perform in the SAHP are more traffic oriented stops along with helping the local law enforcement if need be. The qualities I believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies is the fact that the highway patrol is more oriented towards keeping the roads safe for other civilians to travel. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? I believe 100% the priority in this situation is preservation of life. Not to say catching those involved is not important however we must do what we need to make sure any life is kept as much out of harms way as possible and if that means those involved get away then so be it. First I would just have a talk with him, preferably in a private setting and just see what the problem is and why he seems like he has a personal issue with me. Depending on how that went I would have to take it up with whoever is training him and figure out the best plan of action moving forward. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? If I were to strike a civilian vehicle in a pursuit but neither vehicles were disabled I would ask if the civilian needed medical attention and in this case they don't so I would offer to pay the repair bill for them and then I would join back in the pursuit. I would get on radio and ask if anyone else is in the area with the officer and can give insight as to what is going on. If there were other people at the bank I would let them know that I need to leave the scene in order to go to that call to help the officer. I would also ask on radio how many people are going to go there to get info as to how many officers are going to show up to help. If there seemed to be enough officers going to aid the other officer I would ask if I am needed at the scene and if not I would stay at the bank and proceed with that. If I were to pull over a vehicle who was potentially involved in possible narcotics trafficking I would first radio in the situation to let other officers know what is going on, giving a description of the car as well of the people inside (if able to see through the window). Then I would ask the suspect or suspects to step out of the vehicle, detain them, and explain that I will be searching them and the vehicle due to reasonable suspicion and probable cause of possible narcotics trafficking. If the vehicle were to flee that would give even more probable cause of narcotics trafficking and I would proceed to stay in pursuit as I radio what is happening and ask for backup on the pursuit. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
  4. What is your Steam profile link? https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199109613424/ How many hours do you have on Lucid and / or FiveM? 8.3 but this is my old acount What is your Discord username? Zavo S.#8397 How old are you? 19 What is the name of your character? Zavo S How old is the character you are applying with? 23 What is the phone number of the character you are applying with? 320-788-3604 What is the background of your character? Zavois an immigrant coming to Lucid City in order to make a living for himself. He left everything behind and is giving himself a new start on life. He chooses to stay under the radar with everything he does that might not be socially accepted. What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations? I've done delivery jobs for a while when I first flew into the city but now just interact with citizens of the city to build my reputation. No affiliation. Why do you want to be a pilot? I want to become a pilot because I typically fly into the city in the late hours and there are usually no pilots in the city. I want to be able to help transport people onto and from the island in the late hours that most pilots are unable to work. What makes you different from other individuals that are applying? Although I am the same time zone as most other individuals applying, I can provide work during the night time which will help with the lack of pilots on at night. What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting? I've flown planes and helicopters outside the city so am familiar with how to control an aircraft. How active can you be a week? 15+hours on the clock weekly, usually spend about 6 hours a day in the city daily. Any additional questions? None for now.
