What is the background of your character?

Derryk watched his father as a private pilot growing up but never quite had the time to become licensed himself. He found himself loving training protection and service dogs but after moving to Lucid City he wasn't having the same luck gaining business. After watching the flights leaving Lucid City International and thinking about his father, Derryk felt inspired to take to the skies again. As a boy he knew how to fly everything from helicopters to high end jets and stunt planes but never had the license to do it legally. Now he's trying to get licensed but the proper way

 

What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations?

Side work for other citizens under the table or prospecting

 

Why do you want to be a pilot?

I have always enjoyed flying and feel that this would enable me to become more well known in the city as well as provide a needed service frequently during the days I'm in the city. Being able to pilot for people would increase my ability to network and develop my story with more interested twists and events. Also with my regular presence in the city it won't be so difficult for other citizens to find a pilot and be able to explore more of the city and the island to see what they have to offer! Plus we all know pilots get all the ladies!

 

What makes you different from other individuals that are applying?

I'm very active in the city and do not have any other cities I play on. I've noticed that playing later at night like I do there are often people looking for pilots with no results. I feel that this will help boost the cities popularity and reinforce a type of work that seems to be in demand but not always there when needed.

 

What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting?

In-head experience behind single, twin and turboprop aircraft. I know how to taxi, communicate with the tower, take off, change frequencies as you change airspace, land and receive directions on using the proper taxiway to get to the correct hangar. I also know basic maintenance and upkeep for planes.

 

How active can you be a week?
