What is the background of your character?

My charter arrived in the city a few weeks ago with a goal to make his way to the top, which a stable career to help. He has had aspirations of becoming a pilot ever since a young boy. He is an orphan and the only memory he has of his parents is when they went to an air show. His mother died at child birth and his father 3 years later. Ever since then he was in and out of different foster care as he could never settle in. He is a smart and academic person with massive aspirations. Also, ever since that memory all he wants to do is fly aircraft as he wants to try and connected himself with his past.

 

What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations?

Taxi Driver, multiple delivery drivers but now unemployed.

 

Why do you want to be a pilot?

I want to be a pilot because of my careers dream and aspirations where to become a pilot ever since a young boy. He was to earn his own wings and make a name for himself in the aviation industry. I also want to become a pilot as I have a passion for flying, and by becoming a pilot it let me do what I love for a career. I think also that becoming a pilot I will learn so many new skills such as becoming a better planner, gaining new knowledge and just becoming smarter in general. Also by allowing me to work as a pilot will let me do what I love so this isn't a job I want its a lifestyle and simply a passion.
Also when when Bobby was saying bye to his father prior to his death the father asked bobby to do one thing and that was to pursue his dreams of becoming a pilot. So With that said becoming a pilot is a lifelong dream and aspiration for my character. He also wants to be able to take on that responsibility of looking after so many lives and being responsible for them, which will earn him a sense of pride.

 

What makes you different from other individuals that are applying?

In my head I'm in the UK and based on that time zone and I have noticed that there currently is only one pilot in the same time zone as mine. Also load of people wish to fly at these times but there are not many pilots on during these times. Also, in my head I have a lot of experience in the aviation industry.

 

What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting?

In my head I'm doing, and nearly finished, my aeronautical engineering degree. This will work me towards my EASA B1.1 engineering licence which will then allow me to sign the CRS (Certificate to Release to Flight). I have also has many hours of experience working around and on aircraft. I have also been in the cockpit of a live Boeing 737-200 to carry out multiple service checks and make sure that aircraft is an airworthy condition prior to it departure. I have also flow Boeing 737-800ER aircraft simulator as well as take control of a Cessna 172 in the air.
