FAQ'S

Q: My character is invisible what do I do?
A: The server sometimes gets overloaded with all the people joining, just give it a couple minutes and if nothing changes relog.

Q: I cannot join the server, it says I need to join the guild?
A: Just restart discord and FiveM then you should be able to join. If this does not work be sure you are running the discord desktop app and not in administrator mode.

Q: My textures aren't loading in?
A: Make sure your graphic settings are turned to normal, turn your shadows all the way off and your extended texture budget is turned up.

Q: I was banned for no reason?
A: Make a post in the https://forums.lucidcityrp.com/forms/3-open-a-ban-appeal/ and we will get it sorted for you.

Q: Is there a patreon for this server?
A: No, however there is a shop at https://store.lucidcityrp.com/.

Q: How do I apply to be a Mechanic, EMS, PD or Staff?
A: Go to https://forums.lucidcityrp.com/forum/38-whitelisted-jobs-factions/ and fill out the application. Please remember that applications can take up to 3 days to read, please be patient.

Q: How do I buy a house?
A: You will need to talk to the real estate agent in game to buy a house.

Q: How do I get a weapons permit?
A: You will need to go to city hall and use the gun license application there. It costs 20000 dollars to apply for it. You will receive an email in game when it is approved or denied.

Q: How do I join the server?
A: Go to Connect Guide

Q: What do I do when I first join the server?
A: Firstly you will want to join and create your character, then you will want to head over to the City Hall and collect your starter cash, (the City Hall is the american flag on the map) then you will want to head over to the red briefcase on the map and pick a job.

Q: I am a construction worker, how do I do tasks?
A: When you arrive at the construction site you will need to find tasks to do all around the site, they are marked by white arrows.

Q: I am a Chicken Slaughterer how do I do tasks?
A: When you arrive at the slaughter house you will need to find tasks to do all around the area, they are marked by white arrows after changing into your uniform.

Q: Does this server use teamspeak? And what is the push to talk button
A: No this server does not use teamspeak, and the default bind for push to talk is [N], please check :card_index:keybinds-commands for more info.

Q: Can I change my push to talk button?
A: Yes, go to game settings then keybinds and there you should be able to change it.

Q: I need a role ID to join, where can I get that?
A: You need to connect your FiveM and your Discord to eachother for the server to register that you are a member of our Discord and let you into the city.

Q: Do we get free apartments?
A: No you do not.

/think (thought) - Posts a "Character Thinks: Message" in chat
