How would you explain the duties of a Lawyer?
A lawyer above all else is a person who defends the rights of the people and ensures nobody is wronged by the justice system. A lawyer's duties are being informed on the law and educating the public on how to avoid legal injustice.

Do you have previous legal experience? If so, explain.
Kilo acted as a chauffeur often for a public defender, Franklin Nelson. He's been able to witness the inner workings of defending the rights of people and keeping the public informed on legal injustice.

Why do you want to be a lawyer?
Becoming a lawyer would empower me to protect those that cannot protect themselves. I've met many people in lucid city that feel they were wronged by the justice system. I want to be able to educate my fellow citizen on how to be safe from injustice.

I have a true passion for defending the rights of Lucid citizens and nothing brings me more joy than being able to save someone money they desperately need or protecting them from injustice.

Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants?
From the moment I saw Lucid City all I wanted was to be a member of the police. I have way more drive than any of the other applicants and strive to be the very best there is. I want nothing more than the opportunity to enforce the law and provide safety and security to the citizens of Lucid County while they are travelling on the highway and the more remote areas of Lucid County. I want to experience the excitement and satisfaction that I would get from apprehending a criminal and make the highways a safe environment for all. I am an experienced driver and I always carry myself in a professional manner when interacting with the public. Citizens need to feel safe and comfortable when interacting with law enforcement, with the way I carry myself I can provide that sense of security within the people I interact with, without acting too familiar.

In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City?
Local police departments concentrate on their particular counties and cities. State agencies concentrate on statewide investigations and support local police in situations that might fall outside the purview of the local agency. This is done to facilitate smooth agency transitions and prevent any delays that could prevent an investigation from moving further because of restrictions on local police operations. Highway patrols are also done by state agencies. Highway patrol has a much larger area to enforce, therefore they need to either have more resources to expend on this enforcement or ideally they need to effectively organize their resources to ensure that their area is properly protected.

What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why?
Life protection should always take precedence above all other considerations. There will always be another opportunity to apprehend a criminal, but there will never be another chance to save any lost lives. It's crucial for law enforcement officials to remember that the first goal is and should always be releasing the hostage in the safest manner possible, especially in hostage situations.

While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you?
My best line of action would be to bring up the subject with the next higher up in the chain of command in the case that an issue with a Corporal crossed professional bounds and it is suspected that said Corporal had an issue with me. This would guarantee proper handling of the circumstance while maintaining the line of command. Going to the next higher up would allow them to choose whether the matter requires being referred up the chain of common to be dealt with or if it can be handled by themselves based on the evidence presented.

While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed?
Since I am responding to a pursuit in this instance, it appears that I am neither the pursuit's leader nor its sole participant. As a result, I will shift my attention from the pursuit to the civilian. Knowing that any other units in the chase can concentrate on apprehending the felon while I concentrate on the safety and wellbeing of the civilian allows me to achieve this. There might not be any obvious or visible injuries, but their car might have sustained some damage, and there's always a potential they could get hurt internally. Therefore, I will ask EMS to evaluate the patient and, if available, to have a third party unit record the collision for historical purposes so the citizen can submit an insurance claim to the state.

Prior to leaving the scene and going back to work, I want to make sure that everything is accurately recorded and that my safety and the citizen's safety are both ensured. By fleeing the scene, I might put my career security in jeopardy and increase the state's liability. I need to leave for home at the end of the night knowing that everyone is secure and that I performed my tasks without negligence.

While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond?
The scenario currently in front of me necessitates the protection of life, thus if I have units that can protect the LCPD officer and I have hostages, I will advocate for the negotiation of their release. If I am not the first trooper or officer on the scene, I will wait until they are safe and equipped to handle the problem before asking for permission to leave the robbery scene or go help the LCPD officer who is in trouble. As I previously stated, I'm going to make an effective choice that is entirely concerned with protecting life and safety, and I can't do that without considering the situation, asking myself why, and giving an explanation for any decisions and actions I take.

While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things?
I would arrive with my lights and sirens turned off to avoid alerting any possible criminals in the area , making sure they cannot flee before I arrive. As and when I arrive , I would attempt to pull over the vehicle for questioning as I have reasonable suspicion they are Involved in the narcotics trafficking however I do not have the right to search them as I do not have probable cause due to my lack of evidence I.e. seeing a handoff. I could briefly detain the suspect due to my reasonable suspicion and question them. If they suspect is to flee , I would begin chasing the suspect with lights and sirens due to them fleeing the scene and I would request for some additional units to help me. Due to the suspects fleeing from the scene this would give me the right to search them if they pulled over or their vehicle was disabled in the chase due to them fleeing from officers.
