How would you explain the duties of a Lawyer?
To provide competent legal council and representation to your clients in their defense and/or to prosecute the accussed beyond a resonable doubt on behalf of the city.
Do you have previous legal experience? If so, explain.
Ive been the defendant in cases IRL and learned the SOP for cases through that experience. i.e; standard procedures for evidence gathering & handling, motion for discovery, dismissal, etc. as well as what is considered illegal on both sides of the law.
Why do you want to be a lawyer?
Honestly, if I could do my life over I would have gone this route as my profession, but since that is no longer an option, this shall suffice.
How are you different from other applicants?
I think my personal experience differentiates me from others. On top of that, I want my clients to know I'm going to go the extra mile to win within the confinds of the law. My determination is one of my strongest advantages.
How much time are you willing to invest as a lawyer?
if hired, I would be willing to invest min 2 hours a day.
