EMS in city

Hello Lucid City,

I've noticed recently that the medical department in city has been.. spotty at best. I've been in and out of the city for a few years now, and never really seen the levels dip down to where they are now. On my most recent return to the city, I decided I'd go out and try to become a member of the medical department. The application has been completed and now the waiting game starts. 

I'm not asking to expedite the process or anything of the sort. I know those things take time. However, I was curious.. With the release of the newest local EMS patch, is the city working toward phasing out the medical department over time and this was just the first step? Or is it more of an internal problem that is being sorted out and the local EMS is just a band-aide until the kinks are worked out?

I'm hoping for the former of the two, but regardless, I know the higher ups have more of a grip on the inner workings of the medical department and know the best course of action.
