To answer this question I feel like I need to break it up into to a couple of different sectors. I did not become attracted to law enforcement for the flashy and exciting moments. I am fully aware that while yes, those moments do exist, I have done enough research to understand that enforcing the law is not like movies and tv shows prorated it to be. Not every call is going to be exciting and thrilling and I am okay with that. What does appeal to me is the variety of the job. Having to think quickly on your feet; this appeals to me greatly. The challenge of the position; I know that this is not an easy job. The responsibility that come with wearing a badge outweighs any profession out there. Having to use your critical thinking skills means to me that not everyone can become an officer. Job security is another reason why I want to be in law enforcement. Grocery stores may close, fast food restaurants may close, but generally speaking, police departments don’t close. Working indoors and outdoors, and not sitting at a desk everyday brings the variety that I am looking for. Being able to use my independent thought and accurate decision making makes me believe that this profession brings what few others do. This is my chosen profession and a career that I will work for the rest of my life. What depicts SASP from the LSPD? The LSPD has jurisdiction within Lucid City. Whereas SASP has jurisdiction in the entire State. Even though both departments have different jurisdiction, but they both work together to ensure positive policing is enforced. What do you have to offer? You should consider me over other applicants because of my commitment to helping those in need. In real life, I am a full-time paramedic/firefighter. I strive to do everything in my power to help those in need on the worst day of their life. I am able to remain calm in high tense situations. I am able to use my excellent communication skills to help defuse a situation. Whether someone needs someone to talk to because they are feeling depressed or a shooting victim, I put my all towards every call I go on. What roleplay have you been primarily carrying out in Lucid City so far? I was just hired by EMS. While yes I do love it; I feel as though I can do more than just EMS in the city. Being a police offer for SASP is what I always wanted to do. What makes you suitable for this department? Honesty, integrity, courage, and equality towards all. I stand by those four traits. Those four traits have made me the man I am today. I will put forth the effort to apply those when RP for SASP. I am a hard and dedicated worker. You will always get 110% from me. Have you received any disciplinary in the pas, as well as any bans or warnings? If so describe why. No, I have not received any disciplinary actions on this server. Do you know what the chain of command is? If so explain it and, do you agree to comply with it? Here a chain of command that is commonly found in fire departments. Fire/police commissioner's (They hire/fire people) Board of trustees (Handle budget) Fire Chief (oversees all of the other chiefs, and employees.) Battalion Chiefs (Will have specific duties depending on the department) Operation Chiefs (oversees operations, apparatus maintenance, purchasing of equipment etc...) Captain (Runs the crew for the day, is responsible for them, will have more office work) Lieutenant (Similar to a Captain, but has less responsibility) Firefighter (responds to medical and fire related calls, and just about anything you can think of) Do you agree that you will act respectfully and maturely at any and all times? Yes You get a call that there is a bank robbery in Paleto bay, there is a Sergeant from the state police present, and a commander from the Los Santos Police Department, who takes command of the situation in regards of jurisdiction? If they both arrive on scene at the same time, I belivie that SASP has command due to it being their jurisdiction. Regardless, they both have to work together to stop the robbery and keep the public safe.
