Bill Haywood has finally been broken. After years of dedicated work in mutual aid communities and labor organization in the PNW, he's finally been fired, blacklisted, and doxxed by the corporate overlords who run things. Bill is emotionally scarred by the experience, and while he knows the work never ends and that there's value in every person saved, he's also somewhat of a realist: the PNW is past saving, he and his compatriots are a dying breed, and it's time to find a home where mutual aid and direct action can bring meaningful change to the lives of the people. As a child he had visited Lucid City and despite having a clouded view of the current sociopolitical climate thought it would be as good a place as any to sink new roots and get back to work. Bill is motivated by his experiences and the experiences of others to right injustice, to make habitable an increasingly uninhabitable landscape for the common man, and a deep seated hatred of police. He rarely resorts to violence, choosing instead to gain the trust of his fellow humans and build in them the same fire that burns in him. A better world can be realized, but it's going to be a hell of a fight.
