  1. What is your character name? Leo Berto What is your Discord username? CodyDaGrizz#2221 Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? Lucid City has been riddled by gang activity. I Grew up in a poor neighborhood, where I watched my family get bullied into paying for protection and extorted for every penny they had. I promised myself that I would grow up to stick up for the people who cannot defend their selves. My only goal in life is to get an opportunity at SASP and to do right by my parents. I want to do whatever I can to make Lucid great again and remove all of these scumbag criminals from their "Power". OOC, I have put Nearly 3,000 hours into Lucid City RP between 1.0 and 2.0. I have always done a criminal character and would love to have a change of scenery. I have tried civilian RP many times but it always just turns into gangs bullying you our trying to recruit you. I want to help bring a fun yet serious PD scene to the city, and help improve the potential of Civilian RP. I am extremely active and easy to work with. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? To my understanding, it is very similar to SAPD. Although you have all the same responsibilities, you are not limited by jurisdiction as my job would be to assist all other agencies across San Andreas and patrol the highway. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? Always preservation of life. We will always have another chance to catch a criminal, we cannot bring back the dead. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? I would understand that this is a professional relationship and should be treated as one. If I got to a point that I felt there has been a biased held to me, I would ask if I could have a private conversation with them, and ask them what they think I can do to improve my performance and try to learn as much as possible from them. At the end of the day, he is a higher rank and I will always respect authority. They are trained for the position they are in. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I would continue my pursuit, as I would have had my sirens on. They should be pulled to the shoulder of the road. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? I would immediately respond to the panic alarm, as I stated earlier, I will always preserve life if possible. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I would not approach until additional units arrive. I would then proceed with my traffic stop and attain their personal info. After returning to my car I would run their record and see if they had any prior drug trafficking or manufacturing charges. After returning to the car, I would begin detain and question the suspect and proceed to search their vehicle. If the person flees I would treat it as a chase and ask for additional units, informing them of the situation. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes

  3. This is The Grimm Family, We are a solid group of people, who formed from humble beginnings. A bunch of party animals who turned to a life of crime, due to the astonishing amount of gangs in LC. We love to party and make connections, we are all about having fun and making money. Although our motto is "Business First", we are not afraid to shoot and get involved in wars. We have established ourselves differently than any other family, as we run more as an Organization. We are a well known family and have built up a good reputation around the city, all though we are a gang, we do not go around and cause trouble for everyone else. The Grimm Family philosophy is to never rob or scam people. Unless in casuals, The Grimm Family run in black suites with a cross chain and the Green Flag, and claim the 816 Kortz Center. We can be seen all around the city as we are a extremely active family.
