"One bad chapter doesn't mean your story is over"~ Anonymous My name is Jose Guerrero and I was born and raised in southern Lucid. All I can really remember from my childhood was violence and crime, not everyone chooses that life but sometimes we are forced to live and adapt in it. I can remember having to avoid wearing certain colors when walking to school to avoid being strung into gang violence. Sadly not all of us were bookmark so I had to learn how to become street-smart, learning how to fight, avoid confrontations, and how to gain the respect of everyone around me. I got my nickname for my overall size and lethality, being 6'4 and never losing a single fight will do it to you. People with always find a nickname to match your personality. After years of busted knuckles and being a product of my environment, reality hit my during high-school.......... I thought running drugs and catching fades was going to be my life until I was caught on the wrong side of a barrel and was given a choice. Safe to say it changed my life. I started studying harder than I ever have and paying attention to what's outside of my hood. Its a big world out there, people just choose to follow the trend and stick with what they know. Graduating high-school and college with my degrees is the best thing to happen to me and I hope it continues to go up from here. One day after all my trials and errors it will lead me to creating my own company. Then I will have the power the change peoples lives and share love throughout my community.
