  1. What is your character name? Appa papa What is your Discord username? Ansaar A. Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I want to join this department for multiple reasons such as wanting to make a difference within the city of Lucid. I want the best for this city and would do anything to protect it and the people of it. Having many people within PD has also helped me gain a better knowledge of what it is like to perform acts of service. I care for this city and want to help protect it with other officers that I hope to build great relationships for. I choose the saftey of others over everything, I live by protect and serve. In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City? Local law enforcements duty is to ensure and enforce the safety of Lucid City citizens by protecting them under the law, and making sure to be a first responder to all things, regardless if it’s criminal activity or not. State Law enforcement job is to ensure the safety of the highways and their occupancy, and to assist in any calls in the San Andreas area What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? Preservation of life is the most important thing in any sitution that involves a hostage. Whether it is a civilian or a criminal that is known being held hostage. Making sure the citizens of lucid city are safe is the most important thing even over my own life. While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you? As a bank rank trooper I am not suppose to argue or think someone higher up then me does not know what they are talking about. They are in a higher rank for a reason and would be sure to just listen to what my higher ups say to me and not argue or think anything of it. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? I would proceed on with the chase as long as their are no injuries and no cars are disabled it is more important to pursuit the murders. This is to be sure that no other lives get harmed by these felons. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond? It is my duty to make sure my fellow officers are safe and sound. A panic alarm is when an officer is in a dire situation and needs back up right away. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things? I am empowered to ask questions to the suspicious suspect in the heavily tinted car. I would begin to ask what are they doing here? Why are your windows heavily tinted? Ask them if they could step out the car so I can search them. etc. If they flee the scene immediately after seeing me I would begin to pursue the car as for they are suspicious. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
  2. What is your character name? Oppa Stoppa What is your Discord username? Ansaar A. Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants? I believe that what separates me from the other applicants is that as a person who has had many figures in their life being apart of the police department, FIB, security guards, etc. it is only best that I follow the steps in the ones I look up too. I want to make sure lucid is a safe place for all where nobody is to be harmed in any type of manner. I am also a very quick learner as well a great communicator during stressful situations. I have been in tons of ride along a with former police officers and I know the hang of things as well. I would say I have somewhat of a front row seat of what it’s like to be a cop and I would love to take on the challenge with my fellow sheriffs, officers, swat, etc. State law enforcement ensures that the entire state as a whole is being watched over taking calls not only from city but from as far from sandy and pulitto bay. Local law enforcement is mainly to just answer calls inside the city of lucid unless authorized by a higher up to go to other places when short handed at times. The Highway Patrol sets itself away from other agencies because they are to know the knowledge of where things are located outside the city when on a call or a serious situation. You endure many different types of situations in the wild, off road, mountains, ocean, etc. these are things that interest me because I love a challenge when one comes my way. What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why? You always want to make sure the hostages life is never in danger. Always want to keep checking on the hostage and do whatever you can to make sure you get that hostage out no matter the cost because at the end of the day we signed up to put ourselves in dangerous situations not the hostages as they are just a normal civilian doing their duties. If I were to have a problem with a corporal who is a supervisor in training and who is also a superior rank to me I would make sure I talk it out with him to try and resolve the problem as best as I possibly could. If that does not work I would contact someone higher to possibly help middle man the situation and hear both sides and try to help of figure out our disagreements in a peaceful way. While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed? If there are no injuries that occur I must stay on route to the armed murderers because they could easily kill someone else if nobody is right behind them chasing them. They can cause more havoc to others if I were to stop and make sure the civilian is okay. I must pursue the dangerous felons in order to stop others from getting hurt. In a tough situation like that I would have to get the hostages as quick as possible by letting the robbers go to their vehicle as quick as possible and head on over the the panic alarm alerted by my fellow LCPD Officer. The hostages are once again a top priority so is the my officer in distress which is why I would let the robbers walk in order to save as many lives as possible. If I were to pull over the heavily Tinted car by beginning to ask questions such as have you seen and other car around? Have you seen anyone selling in the area? Why are your windows so tinted? May check the vehicle for anything illegal? Etc. I would see how the suspect answers these questions and if I were to belive he or she is the one selling I would take him in for further questioning. If they were to flee on sight that is a major indicator as they are my targeted suspect because they most likely here my sirens or saw me or had a lookout and wanted to take off in order to no get caught. I would quickly scan the area for any other suspect or cars then head on with a chase calling out on radio suspicious tinted vehicle fleeing scene where possible narcotics trafficking has occurred. Then I would chase the suspect down and begin to ask the same questions as well as why were they Fleeing? Speeding? Etc. Do you agree not to ask staff members and/or command staff to look at this application? Yes
