Why do you wish to join the San Andreas Highway Patrol? Furthermore, what separates you from other candidates and makes you an asset compared to other applicants?
With the passage of time in Lucid City, I have accumulated a lot of experience regarding the rules of role play. My interest in the police, specifically for the San Andreas Highway Patrol, comes from a very long time, but until now I have never had the opportunity to play here. at the beginning, when I came to this wonderful city, I worked as a car driver, after that I chose the job of a taxi driver and then the job of EMS, where I accumulated a wealth of experience regarding the law and its compliance. My dream is to work in the SAHP because for me it is an amazing job, where you have to strictly follow the law and discipline the other residents of Lucid City to do good deeds, giving up the bad ones and punishing the criminals. What would that do to me special about this job compared to the others is that I dedicate myself a lot to my job, especially for this job, I strictly respect the law, never breaking the law, and having respect compared to the other workers and trying to become better and better to correct this city to make everything better.
In your own words, explain what differentiates state law enforcement from local law enforcement, including jurisdictional concerns, and what duties you will expect to perform in the San Andreas Highway Patrol. Additionally, what other qualities do you believe sets the Highway Patrol apart from other agencies that operate in and around Lucid City?
The San Andreas Highway Patrol is a larger jurisdiction than the Lucid City Police Department and the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, because the coverage of the areas that the Highway Patrol is much larger than the coverage that these jurisdictions do (LCPD-by the city, BCSO-by areas like Sandy). The tasks that I think I will have to do will be: patrolling the highways, following cars requiring a lot of precision in trying to slow them down which I think I have and to put spikes on the ground to break the tires .The reason for the differentiation of SAHP is the high level of professionalism required.
What is your priority in a situation - preservation of life (including a potential hostage situation) or catching those involved? Why?
My main priority is to make sure that the hostages are completely safe and free from any other dangers that could put their lives in danger. Even if the criminals might flee from the scene of a hostage incident, I will make sure that the hostages are fine and have not suffered anything, and then even though the criminals have left, there will always be a method to catch them.
While on patrol as a base-rank Trooper, you find yourself having a few negative run-ins with a Corporal after a minor issue on-duty that you felt was resolved. You feel that your disagreement with them goes beyond professional levels and that perhaps this corporal has a personal issue with you. How would you proceed in dealing with this issue, knowing that a Corporal is a supervisor-in-training and a superior rank to you?
In this situation, I would address a superior of mine explaining the situation, knowing that this situation will be managed by a superior of mine. In solving this unpleasant situation, I would be the one to let my behavior be soft, without arguments and without spoiling the friendship.
While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a pursuit of armed felons that just committed a murder. You strike a civilian vehicle in the pursuit. Neither vehicle is disabled and there are no injuries. How do you proceed?
In this situation, I would stop to check if the driver and the passengers of the vehicle with which I had an accident are not in danger, and then I would continue following the vehicle because it can be very dangerous for other traffic participants, potentially leading to the loss of many lives humans.
While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond and arrive on-scene at a bank robbery at the Fleeca Bank on Great Ocean Highway. While setting up a perimeter and beginning to negotiate with the suspects inside, you receive notification of a panic alarm being activated from an LCPD officer. How would you respond?
In this situation, I would urgently notify the other officers who are around the bank, telling them to respond urgently to the panic call, while one of the police units remains near the bank, taking details of the criminals' car and making sure that the hostages I am completely safe, after that I am preparing the police cars for possible follow-up.
While on patrol as a Trooper, you respond to a call of suspicious activity - possible narcotics trafficking - in the vicinity of Grove Street. You observe a heavily tinted vehicle exiting the scene as you arrive and decide to pull the vehicle over for a traffic stop. Potentially citing case law as well as reasonable suspicion and probable cause, what are you empowered to do, and what would you do to investigate? Additionally, if the vehicle were to flee immediately upon sight of you, how would that change things?
In this situation, arriving at the suspicious place, I would go with the car sirens turned off without making any noise in order not to cause the criminals to run away. If the vehicle suspected of selling drugs was leaving, I would stop it, asking the driver to show me ID card, driving license and explain the reason for the stop, not being able to stop them, because I only have a license, telling them that they are not suspicious, but the vehicle is suspicious, but this could make them scare and run away, which would give me a valid reason for detention in case of capture.
