What is the background of your character?

Cookie was born and raised in Lucid City. His parents were poor and worked the night shift, so growing up he took to exploring the city as a means to pass the time. With his parents mostly absent, Cookie had to fend for himself starting at the age of 10, learning the importance of responsibility for himself and his actions. Cookie knows the city like the back of his hand as a result, and has naturally found his calling in different transportation careers in the city. Cookie has always had an interest in airplanes, and has always looked up to pilots, but as a result of growing up poor, he never had the means to attend flight school which is his biggest regret.

 

What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations?

I was a delivery driver for a short while for Bahama Mama's until I met Havana at Lucid City Taxi and was offered a job. I still work as a taxi driver at Lucid City Taxi, and have recently been promoted to a Level 3 Driver after having shattered 2 consecutive fare challenges, earning a higher salary and a higher class car to complete taxi fares in.

 

Why do you want to be a pilot?

I have really enjoyed driving the different people of Lucid City around in my taxi. I've met some great people as a result, but I feel like I would meet and interact with even more people as a pilot in the city. My goal since joining the city has been to become a pilot, but I have been trying to gain some experience in the city before I attempt this transition. I enjoy driving in the city, and I feel like I would enjoy it even more with a bird's-eye view from a Lucid Airlines jet.

 

What makes you different from other individuals that are applying?

I spend 8+ hours a day in Lucid City and have noticed the constant need for flights. I am in the city every day of the week and can commit to a consistent schedule of flying in Lucid City, so I never leave anyone questioning whether they're going to be able to get a flight. If given the opportunity, I will exceed what is expected of me, just as I have with my current job at Lucid City Taxi.

 

What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting?

I am currently in the process of getting my PPL. I have 45 flight hours, and have flown a Cessna 172 Skyhawk solo close to 10 times. I have a decent knowledge on communicating with air traffic control, and feel like with practice I could add some decent RP in this way. I also worked as a supervisor for an aircraft fueling operation at PDX in Portland, OR for 4 years and because of this I understand the inner-workings of the ground operation at an airport.

 

How active can you be a week?

20+ hours
