What is the background of your character?

Derek came from the Old City looking for a new change of scenary. When he was younger his dad was a fighter pilot who was KIA. He always wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps but got caught up in the fast life of the city. He left being a pilot in the Old City because the easy money was just a lot more fun and exciting than serving his country or becoming a traditional pilot. When his brother passed away from the violent lifestyle of the city, being his mom's now one and only son, he promised her he would pursue his dream of moving to Lucid and becoming the pilot he always wanted to be. He is determined to change his life around and wants to make moves to make it happen.

 

What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations?

Currently a Delivery Driver for LTD

 

Why do you want to be a pilot?

Seeing the constant need for pilots and being readily available in the city, being able to fulfill these requests and contribute further to the lifestyle of Lucid is a driving force. Hopefully I can contribute to the drought of pilots and become one of the best there is. I feel like this can really make the city come alive as we alleviate the pilot drought with one of the best there is!

 

What makes you different from other individuals that are applying?

What makes me different is the fact that I am always ready to go. Being constantly in the city and wanting to live a clean lifestyle will make it so I can take to the friendly skies anyone who wants to go. Plus being a pilot in the Old City, I have the experience needed to do so. I am also easy to talk to and make flights fun and pleasurable. If someone has somewhere they need to go, they can be rest assured I will be there to get them there.

 

What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting?

Have plenty from being a Pilot in the Old City, as well as constantly keeping my skills sharp in simulations at home.

 

How active can you be a week?

20+ hours
