What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations? I work in the IT field, currently working as an IT Specialist. I have worked IT at a hospital previously. Why do you want to be a pilot? I have always been a big fan of flying, and have spent many hours in flight simulations. It is very relaxing for me, and a good way to shut off my brain. What makes you different from other individuals that are applying? I am not a pilot, however I am currently deployed and operating in an Aviation Battalion. I work with pilots, and have flown in many helicopters and fixed wing aircrafts, and have even taken some courses on reading flight maps, and other functions to fly an aircraft. My job is to keep the network that the pilots use fully operating. I am also in the Middle East at the moment, so I would be able to be online for hours that others aren't, providing flights for the night shifts. What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting? I have flown on helicopters and fixed wing aircrafts throughout multiple countries in the middle east. I have also spent a lot of hours in various flight simulators, such as Microsoft Flight Simulator. How active can you be a week? 10-20 hours Any additional questions? None at the time.
