(387)215-8637 What is the background of your character? I am Hubert Schneider, a German immigrant looking to continue in his father's footsteps as a airline pilot. As a child I went to countless airshows with my father which led to me pursuing a career in flight. Besides my passion for flight I enjoy going to car shows, nice outfits, and playing board games. What are your previous jobs and / or current affiliations? My previous job before taking the flight to this wonderful island was working as a flight instructor for low end aircrafts such as Cessnas or Pipers. Why do you want to be a pilot? I have always wanted to become a pilot from a young age. This is because my father flew for Lufthansa in Germany and because of how freeing and exhilarating he said it was I have always wanted to become a pilot and feel it for myself. My dream is to become a full fledged airline pilot helping bring people to where they want to go as safely as possible. What makes you different from other individuals that are applying? The main difference I can think of is my family's history with flying. Even though I do not like to admit it my grandfather was a pilot on the German side during World War II as a Luftwaffe pilot. Even though it is a scar on my family's history, I cannot deny that with my grandfather being a pilot and my father being a pilot, flight is in my blood. What kind of experience do you have related to flight and piloting? I have experience flying Cessnas and Piper planes but I learn very quickly and am looking to quickly expand my range of planes.
