I get the error message: "You are required to join our discord and have Member role to play!" I have no idea how to get this role. I have authorized FiveM with my Discord, and I have joined the Lucid City Discord server, where the only thing I can see is the announcements channel, the rest I don't have permission to. If you don’t have a member role in the discord, leave and join the discord and check your DMs you’ll have a DM from a certain Bot which verifies your account and gives you your role Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have the privacy setting for allowing DM from server members set to OFF by default when I join servers. So that is why I didn't get any messages in my DMs. I got two messages now. One from "Double Counter" which told me that it was not fully set up yet on Lucid Server. And the other one "AltDentifier" gave me an error when trying to login with Steam. Progress at least, but very difficult process with no guidance on how to do it on any forum page (that I have found) or anything :| Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Should be added a guide on how to join the server for people having problems. Cause for everyone it isn't just, as you say, "Just join the server and connect to the FiveM server". :P Just some constructive feedback! ;) Thanks! I have a full guide written up on the guides section but just clicking verify on a DM isn’t really a “very difficult process” glad you’re figuring it out now though. Xepi Posted July 19, 2021 Author Share Posted July 19, 2021 @JoeyC Well, you would agree that pressing a link in a DM from a bot is a very difficult process if you didn't get or expect a DM, and there was no guides available on public forum or Discord (cause no priviliges) to inform of that. I do appriciate that you created a detailed guide cause of this, it will be of help to many. Important thing you are missing in the guide is this Discord setting (which made everything soo difficult for me and others with this setting): If that option is not enabled you will never receive a message fromt he bot when joining the server.
