    Q: How do I join the server? 

    A: Go to 🔗server-connections  in the discord to locate the url. In Fivem press F8, type in the url, and press enter. If you are still having issues check out https://forums.lucidcityrp.com/topic/12869-guide-how-to-join-lucid-public-guide/

     

    Q: What do I do when I first join the server?

    A: After creating your character, locate the city hall (american flag icon on map) and collect starting cash at the front desk.

     

    Q: Twitter notifications are WAY too loud! What can I do?

    A: When accessing twitter located the settings and adjust when you get notifications

     

    Q: Where do I locate my player ID number sometimes known as paypal or special number?

    A: Hold J

     

    Q: Can I use my mouse to access apps on my phone?

    A: Yes! Bring up your phone with M and change your phone settings from keyboard to mouse.

     

    Q: I am stuck under the map! What should I do?

    A: Make an ingame report by T then /report with a message.

     

    Q: I found a bug. What should I do?

    A: Report it in our discord under report a bug or Report a bug - Lucid City RP here on the forums

     

    Q: I had items in my inventory/stash and they are no longer there. What should I do?

    A: Make a refund request with evidence of previously having those said items here Refund Request - Lucid City RP

     

    Q: My paychecks are not being directly deposited into my bank. 

    A: This is an intended feature and not a bug. Locate the big bank and cash your check with the teller behind the counter.

     

    Q: I need a role ID to join, where can I get that?

    A: You need to connect your FiveM and your Discord to each other for the server to register that you are a member of our Discord.

     

    Q: Do we get free apartments?

    A: Yes! This should be your starting point in the city. Can also be located on the map.

     

    Q: When choosing my character the menu is not letting me proceed. What to do?

    A: Make sure there are no spaces in any part of your name that you have chosen.

     

    Q: I want to change my HUD.

    A: F7 will allow you to see a few different HUD options including different shapes, colors, and placement.

     

    Q: Where do I find a job?

    A: There is no longer a job center in Lucid 2.0. Time to start exploring! Make some friends and talk to people. There are jobs around the city that you have to find in RP.

     

    Q: I died from a bug! What should I do?

    A: Join the discord waiting room with a clip of the bug. Staff will assist you.

     

    Q: I died, do not know how, and I do not have a clip. What should I do?

    A: Roleplay it out! Contact EMS or respawn. There will be instructions on how to do both at the time of your death. Be aware that you will lose all your items if you choose to respawn.

     

    Q: My vehicle won’t start!

    A: Vehicles now stay running until you turn them off and will not automatically start unless you turn on the ignition by pressing G.

     

    Q: My character is invisible. What should I do?

    A: The server sometimes gets overloaded with all the people joining, just give it a couple minutes and if nothing changes relog.

     

    Q: I cannot join the server, it says I need to join the guild?

    A: Just restart discord and  FiveM  then you should be able to join. If this does not work be sure you are running the discord desktop app and not in administrator mode.

     

    Q: My textures aren't loading in?

    A: Make sure your graphic settings are turned to normal, turn your shadows all the way off and your extended texture budget is turned up.

     

    Q: I was banned for no reason?

    A: Make an appeal here 2.0 Ban Appeal - Lucid City RP

     

    Q: Is there a patreon for this server?

    A: No, however there is a shop at https://store.lucidcityrp.com/.

     

    Q: How do I apply to be a Mechanic, EMS, PD or Staff?

    A: You can located applications here Whitelisted Jobs / Factions - Lucid City RP  Please remember that applications can take up to 3 days to read, please be patient.

     

    Q: Can I change my push to talk button?

    A: Yes, go to game settings then keybinds and there you should be able to change it.

     

     

    Q: I cannot interact with anything with E

    A: The interact keybind has changed in 2.0. The default is now Left Alt. You may change this keybind in your fivem keybind settings while in game.

    Depending on why the old account was banned. You would need to gain access to the old account, set up 2 factor authentication, and make an unban appeal showing you have completed that. The new account is to new and will be automatically kicked out.

Maybe something at the very start that tells you where to begin, where to go from there, and so on. This would include joining the discord, signing up on the forum, doing an intro, etc. It would be nice to have a visual checklist to ensure I'm doing everything correctly and not missing anything along the way.

    Just a suggestion! Maybe you have one and I just haven't found it. Anyway, thanks for having me!
